"Teachers are responsible for motivating students"
I agree with the statement. Teachers are responsible for motivating students, but only in the classroom. Teachers have an important role in student's education. They can be liders, exs of life, have an important role in the decisions that student made, etc. Teachers and parents must worked together to gave the best quality education to their children and students, focusing in the technically and fundamentally of the subjects.
First, teacher's obligation is be an ex in every moment. For ex, when I was an student I had an excellent teacher who always gave me his experience with stories of his life. Important part of what I am today is thanks to that teacher. His experience gave some values that I used until today.
Second, teachers also played a parent roll. Outside schools parents have the responsibility to educated to their children with values, but inside schools, that role of father or mother is played by teachers. For ex, when I was in school my teacher always told me that his responsibility was so important like the responsibility of my parents. He always tried to play that role, and he did it always thinking in what was better for me.
Additionally, in some cases teachers can be "liders" for students, they can play an important role in student's decisions. For ex, I had a friend who was not sure what to study, but his professor helped him to choose the correct decision. Now he is a doctor. Are thousands of exs like this, professor are extremely important in student's lives.
To conclude, teachers are responsible for motivating students but only in classrooms. Student's parents have an important role outside the school. Teachers and parents must worked as team, they must worked together to gave the best education to children, and always thinking in their future.
