"Introduction to Sentence Structure"
1. For the first part of the exercise, please give me an example of each of the following. Your example should be something original that you wrote:
An independent clause (can be about anything, as long as it's a sentence you composed),
A dependent clause,
A sentence with two independent clauses joined by a coordinating conjunction,
A sentence that uses "however" to join two independent clauses.
A sentence that uses a semicolon correctly.
2. For the second part of the exercise, combine the following two sentences into one sentence using two different methods: When students read a lot they tend to become better writers. They become more fluent with language.
