Etology is a Melbourne based business specialising in developing Information Technology solutions within the medical and science industries. The business focuses on managing ecosystems with provided solutions working within the space and seamlessly interacting with hardware and software technologies.
The business is interested in various new technological solutions entering the marketplace, in particular the Google and Amazon Alexia assistance technologies and the opportunities to extend current technology using these new offerings.
An innovation team consisting of members of each major business unit has been formed to explore and report on these new technologies, with a focus on assistance technologies. The business would like to know the scope of the offerings in the marketplace which may also include competitors to Google and Amazon, potential market trends and any concerns regarding future adaptability and support. Etology is particularly interested in - but not limited to - solutions within the medical and scientific fields, with an express desire to 'add smarts' to a range of instruments currently available in the marketplace.
The innovation team will consist of management representatives from Human Resources, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service, Learning Development and Information Technology.
