In this discussion, you will face the challenges presented by your personal schema (mindlessness) selective perception, and undue influence by examining your perceptions.

To prepare for this Discussion, you examined the photograph in the week''s discussion introduction area. You should have answered the following questions quickly in order to record your first impression.

What kind of job might this person have? Where is this person from? What is her favourite television show? Book? Movie? Magazine? What does she do for fun? Where does she stand politically?

What does the way she dressed tell you about her? What kind of car do you think she drives?
