Discussion: Project Plan Outline Review (Reflection) Collapse
It is your turn to assess critical success factors by evaluating your colleagues' Project Plan Outlines. You will be assigned a Project Plan Outline to review. Your evaluation will be posted to the Discussion Board by Day 4 of this Week. Project group members will respond to your evaluation and incorporate your feedback into the final version of their Project Plan Outline.
To prepare for this Project Plan Outline Review:
By Day 1 of Week 8, one person from each group will post the group's Group Project Plan Outline to the Project Plan Thread in the Discussion Forum created for each group.
Project Plan Outline Review format:
T he format for your Project Plan Outline Review should include an evaluative matrix (i.e., set of metrics) that you will use to assess a project plan. Design your matrix to include multiple metrics for:
Project scope
Project goals and objectives
Project estimation
Project risk
Project scheduling
Team organisation
Project metrics (quality control)
Change management and control
Your matrix can be a single matrix or a series of matrices. A rating system should be devised such that each project may accumulate a score from 0 to 100. Evaluation criteria should be exhaustive. Each of the criteria selected should be explained in detail.
