There are three levels of management hierarchy: strategic, managerial and operational.

Part 1: Review at least 4 academically reviewed articles on each management hierarchy. Summary the articles in your own words.

Part 2: Discuss how the three levels of management hierarchy: strategic, management, and operational relates to the mission of a business.

Part 3: As an IT professional, how would you use information technology to improve the efficiency the three levels of management hierarchy?

Part: 1

Strategic management:

Strategic management can be defined as a strategic plan by the managers to maintain and create competitive advantage to the company and to keep the environment free of threats so as to improve its opportunities. The plan involves determining the mission and objectives of the business in the context of internal and external environments.

A successful strategic management involves formulation, implementation and evaluation of decisions such as to assess how the management achieved its objectives over a time and what can be improved further to keep the business on track. It's a continuous process throughout the life of the firm done by the strategic manager (irma-international.org, 2009, p. 3).

Operational management:

It's the process which involves the activities from the procurement through development to distribution of product or service. It is one of the most important functions of the business besides finance and marketing. The efficiency and competitiveness of the business will depend upon the operations management.

Its such a robust process where the manager has to integrate all other departments of human resources, finance department and research department. It's a coordination of all the departments in a company together to form a successful operational activity (Porter, 2009, p. 7).

Managerial:

The managerial functions are the base of the organization which involves determining the objectives and ethics, ensuring compliance and creating culture of the organization, designing and implementing the governance frame work. It's the central nervous system where the top management involves and rule all other managerial activities of the subordinates (Rosemary, 2018, p. 3).

Part: 2

The three are interconnected with each other. The managerial frame work defines the objectives of the business and plan the finance and resources. The operational management has to work according to the resources and finance available to it so as to meet the managerial objective.

The strategic management on the other hand also work on the basis of Managerial objectives and mission. But they have the responsibility to keep the business competitive in the market and to maintain all the safety measures in the companies' environment. if one of three functions fail then the other will be of less or no efficient at all. but the highest of all the managerial goals and mission must be realistic based on its finance and resource ability so as the operational management can be efficiently planned without any scarcity.

Part: 3

As an IT manager I would use Entrepreneur Resource Planning systems. They will coordinate all the system in an organization to maintain the database and thus the efficiency. I would use cloud management and if it's in budget the AI (Artificial Intelligence). They are all the latest buzz words in the IT and one other emerging technology is Mobile technologies where the management use mobile devices for improving workers efficiency.

They all help the management to maintain a smooth work flow and decrease the error and fraud by staff. Any of these technologies will impact the performance of the three levels of management. We can use the IT management to help in data backup and disaster management so as to use in decision making. To maintain competitive edge in the market. To collect customer data and maintain order fulfillments and to manage third parties (Mainardes, 2014, p. 2).

Discussion 2 :-

Three levels of management are strategic, managerial, and operational.At the operational level, exchange information is delivered and fillsasa contribution to make data.At the managerial level, data is deciphered and used in basic leadership.It helps center level managers distributing assets and building up controls to execute the best level designs of the association.Generally, the vast majority of the inside scale and the best scale associations are incorporated into three broad levels of progression. For building up a gainful relationship, there should be OK coordination between all levels of administration (Richard C. Hicks, 2006).

Assist total of the data makes information to help settle on strategic level choices.It supports in perceiving and surveying these options with the objective that an administrator settles on instructed choices which are not the same as the contenders and the confinements of what the rivals are doing or needing to do (Berisha, 2010).

Information systems are particularly essential to supervisors at the lower or operational level since it creates the impression that they get the most guide since PCs and information systems are best ready to manage all around organized issues for which these administrators are capable.Information systems are intended to help management exercises, individually better essential initiative.Fundamental administration is an important bit of administration and occurs in every limit and at all levels of essential authority (Cameron Anderson, 2010).

Operational level:: Operational experts are in like way called first-line boss, chiefs, signify pioneers or gathering facilitators.At first level chief, a part of the time called separate down level administrator, are at the base of the valid chain of extremity.

Strategic level:: Subordinate upon their positions, center administrators may control first-line director, various obsession executives, working conditions or entire divisions of an association.Center executive routinely fill in as contacts to different divisions and utilize social abilities to empower and partake inter-departmentally Mid-level chief, or center heads, are a stage over the crucial level experts.

Management level::Upper connection is worried over the affiliation everything considered - its fundamental target, vision, and entire game-plan logic. In that point of confinement, top association traces vivaciously, expecting the bit of association visionary.
