Here is some more information on 'My research for Dissertation topic' mentioned: I am doing quantitative analysis & approach. This might further help you to come up with right information on the question/paper. Please read:

1. Research Design I am using in my Dissertation:

The purpose of the present study was to identify significant differences and examine the relationship between demographic variables, stress and job satisfaction of male and female employees at workplace. Data for this study will be generated by a demographics form, Job Stress Survey and Job Satisfaction Survey (Spector, 1985; Spielberger & Vagg, n.d.).

To explore difference in the relationship between stress and job satisfaction among male and female personnel, so a comparative correlative quantitative research design will be utilized for the present study, which is a larger or broader area that allows the use of various methods such as correlation or survey studies (Howell, 2008; Leedy & Ormrod, 2005).

2. Approach:

Quantitative Non-experimental Study:

The results of this study may help support, design and develop precautionary programs to recognize and identify stress and its associated consequences in the work environment. In addition, research findings may help increase support for education and training in decreasing and resolving current stress issues and its affiliated strains in the work environment.

3. Rationale:

The object of the present study was to explore the relationship between demographic variables, stress and job satisfaction among male and female personnel in an organization.

4. Research Methodology Assumptions:

This study will support the concept of work-life balance, which is based upon achieving balance when work responsibilities interfere with life or family obligations and as a result, often demonstrating job satisfaction (Lambert et al., 2006).

Male and female personnel exhibiting work-life balance may demonstrate psychological well-being and job satisfaction, which may have been influenced by overall support from family, co-workers, community and so forth. However, lack of achieving work-life balance such as addressing medical issues and concerns and unfavorable work schedules may influence job dissatisfaction (Kanwar et al., 2009).

Similarly, equity concepts are also supported by this study and suggest that perception of fairness influence job satisfaction (Thompson, 2009).The theoretical framework that will be utilized in the present study will support the constructs.

Furthermore, research methods support the variables by determining significant relationships. Specific variables that will be measured are stress, job satisfaction, gender and utilized an interval scale of measurement to assist in data analysis.

5. Ethical Challenges:

In respect for human subjects in research, the principles of respect for persons, beneficence and justice guided the present study (APA, 2010). Participants who volunteer to participate in this study will be fully informed of the nature of study and their individual involvement. While survey questionnaires were anonymous and there was no identifying information during data collection procedures as well as throughout the entire study, participants were assured confidentiality
