While we don't require students to get certifications, we strongly encourage them to do so as the likelihood of finding and being qualified for that dream job is increased with certification as well as education (your degree).
Start thinking about where and when you're going to sit for your certification exam. You know more than you may think, and you are encouraged to sit for your exam as soon as you're ready.
How will you know that you're ready? Discuss it with your instructor and your classmates.
