a. Using your Two-Year Academic Plan, provide your college major, minor and/or program of study (if applicable).

b. Write a long-term career goal (three years to life)

c. Write a short-term goal (one to two years)

d. Write a mini goal (one to two months)

e. Write a micro goal (one to three weeks)

f. Please use DAPPS format for each of the above goals.

Long-Term Goal Example: By 5/31/14, I will have obtained a Bachelor's Degree with a GPA of 3.0 or better in (the career area of your choice).

III. Using your Self-Assessment Summary Worksheet, create a summary of the following:

V. Using your career research from O*Net, The Dictionary of Occupational Titles, or The Occupational Outlook Handbook, include the following fact-gathering information as it relates to your career of choice:

2. Detailed job description of this career
3. Median annual and hourly salary range (National and Arizona)
4. Typical hours of employment (or options)
5. Employee benefits

c. Tuition reimbursement
6. Career growth outlook or demand for the next decade (percent of growth projected)
7. Educational requirements and/or minimum training necessary to enter career field

8. If college or tech school is necessary, what types of programs are available locally or throughout the US?

9. Schools, colleges, universities or apprenticeships offering training (locally or nationally)

10. Personal requirements (gender, height, weight)

11. Physical demands (lifting, heavy/light work, outdoors, high risk)

12. Location (indoors, outdoors, desk job, travel, etc.)

13. Opportunities for advancement (career ladder)

14. Related occupations and what, if any, additional training is needed

VI. Conduct and include results from an informational interview with an individual working in the occupation you are researching.

a. Include a copy of the questions asked and a review of interviewee's answers pertaining to those questions.

VII. Discuss your perceived personal advantages and disadvantages regarding the career you are researching.
