Case Study

Prepare a case analysis as follows

• Provide your assessment of the case:

o Clearly articulate "the point" of the case is; analyze the information provided in the case and write an analysis that supports that position:

What was the problem or opportunity that the company faced in the case?

How did the company leverage technology to solve the problem or exploit the opportunity?

What were the results that they achieved and how did they achieve them?

Do you agree with what they did and how they did it.....why?

If they did not achieve the anticipated results, why not?

o This case specifically focuses on international companies. Incorporate into your paper your assessment of how this fact had any bearing on the case. Recall our having discussed in class the "global" nature of business and technology

o Support your analysis with data and information including the use of at least two external resources

o This is your opportunity to apply what you have learned in a comprehensive manner

• Well written papers will:

o Be well thought out, cohesive and organized with data and informationthat supports your thesis

o Have an introduction of the topic / thesis, a body that explains your thesis and a conclusion

o Demonstrate your ability to analyze information & apply independent thought

o If you are unclear on how to construct a well thought out paper...ask

The report should be formatted as double-spaced, in a 12-point font with one-inch margins. The report should be a maximum of 2-3typed pages not including references, citations etc. Also pay close attention to Sentence structure, grammar and punctuation: they matter. Proof read your paper before submitting

Please provide references at the end and cite the articles properly in the body of the report.

Collaboration on this assignment is not allowed. Each student's submission should be a reflection of their own work.

You may choose one of the following two cases.

• Unilever

• Abercrombie & Fitch
