Business computer systmes discussion

1) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is discussed in the text. Briefly summarize in your own words what CRM is all about. What are the benefits? Do you see any possible downside?

2) Have you been involved in either the planning of a new system implementation or been an early adopter of a new system? Most people have had some involvement in at least the implementation phase. Discuss your experience. Was a SDLC process used? What sort of implementation method would you recommend and why?

3) Most IS departments have a backlog of work. Is the System Development Life Cycle a good idea or does it just add additional delays? Are the system delays largely necessary or unnecessary? Have you been involved in this process? If so, discuss your experience. If not, what is your opinion of this process?
