Referring to the case study, complete the following tasks:

Case Study - How one auction website underwent a digital transformation to boost sales from $8 million to $70 million

Tasks. 1
Produce a detailed Gantt chart (minimum of 25 activities) for the project in the case study, their likely phasing, and any interconnections. You can base this on your own WBS.

The chart must be produced in Microsoft Project and must be accompanied by an assumptions document of 400 - 600 words. This may include, for instance, consideration of hardware, software, data, testing, performance, training, compliance and the transfer of existing records.

The MS Project file must be uploaded separately to Blackboard.

TASK 2
It is unlikely that all the human resources can be found from within the business to meet the demands of this project. With reference to the literature, discuss the resourcing options and for each option discussed, outline how this option will affect the project management role. Might there be different resourcing strategies for each of the sub-projects? (approx. 800 words)

TASK 3
Develop a risk register with proposed mitigations. Your register should contain a minimum of 10 risks. With reference to the literature, explain how such a risk register should be used during the project execution phase (approx. 800 words).

TASK 4
The expansion has increased the system complexity and the scale of use considerably. Despite good final testing, system performance is very slow when it goes live to a larger number of concurrent users. Most of your project team believe that the server is under-sized for the task but one member believes there may be a software bug as the software has recently been updated.

There may also be some network issues. The reputation of the project is at risk. There is great pressure on you to deliver a successful project and there is a project board meeting at the end of next week.

With reference to the literature, explain how you are going to proceed, and how you are going to communicate this issue to the board and the users (approx. 800 words)
