For this assignment, reflect on the information from Figures 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 and describe the demographic, socioeconomic, and health status of our nation?s elders. Include the following information in your response:

After providing the information above, analyze the overall characteristics of elders in the 21st century - what is the „new face? of the elderly community? How are their lives different now than they were in the past few decades? What challenges do they face, and what opportunities are upon them?
