On the other hand, iOS is an operating system derived from the closed source with some few components of the open source.
The two are also derived from different types of operating system family. Android falls in the family of Linux whereas, on the other hand, iOS is an operating system from OS X under UNIX (Goadrich& Rogers, 2011). It also clear that file transfer in the two operating system is different. With Android, the transfer of files is easy. It involves using the USB port and the Android file transfer desktop app. Photos can be transferred directly via the USB without the app.
On the other hand, iOS file transfer is a bit difficult as compared to Android. Media files are transferred by the use of iTunes desktop application. Photos can be transferred out by the use of USB. The two are important applications that have helped in linking the users to the mobile technology.
