Remember: All posts should be constructed using full sentences and paragraphs. A full paragraph should be at least four to five full sentences with a clear thesis statement and a few body/supporting sentences. Failing to communicate in this manner may make your post difficult to understand, which ultimately makes it difficult for others to comment on and for me to assess.

Before you enter the field to conduct research, you must craft a quality research question and have a data-collection plan. (Hint: Remember to briefly explain why you use a particular data collection technique; don't just say "I want to answer the following question, so I would conduct a survey.").

For your original post, create a sociological research question that is related to your interests and describe how you would collect data using either obtrusive or unobtrusive data-collection techniques.

For your response post, help a classmate by responding to their original post with an idea for how they can improve their data-collection using an additional obtrusive or unobtrusive data-collection technique.
