A farmer has a 10 acres land to plant in wheat and barley. He has to plant at least seven acres. But, he has only $1200 to invest and each acre of wheat costs $200 to plant and each acre of the barley costs $100 to plant. Furthermore, the farmer has to get the planting done in twelve hours and it takes an hour to plant the acre of wheat and two hours to plant the acre of barley. If profit is $500 for each acre of wheat and $300 for each acre of barley how many acres of each must be planted to maximize profit?
