1. SANParks/Kruger National Park's objective is optimum utilization of resources, development and training of the wildlife profession, leveraging of information and skills to benefit SADC region. Some of their visions are reintroducing populations into national parks, enhancing the conservation status of rare and threatened species, enhancing breeding projects involving valuable and rare species, and building capacity in the veterinary and wildlife capture fields. Selling of Rhino is consistent with their objective and vision. This comes from selling rhinos to other wildlife agencies in Africa and surrounding areas. By selling them to others, it allows a tighter grip on hunts and breeding. Selling them for a specific purpose when they leave the reservation helps control the Rhino population.

2. Reduction of illegal acts is a hard nut to crack. One of the only ways I can see reducing poaching is deadly force. When a person is hired by SANParks to keep watch they will know the others that are within their party. As they are guarding the animals and see individuals that are not sanctioned to be there, a shoot to kill order should be given. People value their lives and if they know there is a shoot to kill law or rule they will most likely think twice. Another way is if a load of poached goods is seized, the transport individual can give up the names of who hired them or spend the rest of their lives in prison with their equipment seized and sold to fund additional help.

3. Buyers of Rhino horn, particularly in Asia where they believe it holds aphrodisiac effects, are controlling interest in prices. The buyer power in this case is driving the illegal act of poaching which branches out into the other areas of sale. Poachers are the entity that presents a wild card effect in competitive threats. There are limits on the amount of Rhino's that can be killed per year which does not meet the buyers need. This buyer want drives poachers to take illegal chances in order to meet the supply of the demand.
4. Supply and demand will always be a problem in the industry I am associated with. On the F-35, Lockheed Martin is the only point of sale we have for parts and they control who gets the parts first. When tasking the supply system, many times it is zero balance and we have to wait on parts. It is at this point, we take good parts from good aircraft and install them into the aircraft awaiting parts in order to allow the aircraft to make the next day's mission. This was not supposed to happen from the original contract.
