Your writing should, in the absence of other style elements, include:

I. A clear introduction which begins with a thesis statement and includes reference to both theory and evidence that will be expanded upon in the body of your essay. INTRODUCE your argument in a clear paragraph including the specifics relating to the QUESTION. 

II.  Follow up with any necessary descriptions/background/evidence of Theories and concepts you rely on for your points, relationships between factors and key concepts we have introduced (Including EXAMPLES which may involve equations or diagrams) and support citations (usually from text)if any are needed.

III.  A conclusion (or conclusions) THAT CLEARLY RELATES to the ideas you have presented and ties back to your first paragraph.

If you do not think you need to include any of the above, you should rethink your answer.  These questions relate to homework assignments which you may find contribute examples and other information relevant to your efforts.  SHOW WHAT YOU KNOW that relates to the core material of the class.

1.  The FED through FedFunds rate targeting is following through on its commitment to raise interest rates.  How will this policy change financial wealth in this country? (reflect on asset pricing from earlier in the term) Should the FED see these wealth effects as helping to achieve its policy goals of stable prices and full employment?  Explain how FED policy targets particular interest rates and how interest rate changes alter wealth-as well as addressing FED policy mechanics and goals in current policy.  (use models to make your argument)
