Your company has decided to move its corporate headquarters from New York City to New Jersey. The new complex will be built outside Princeton NJ. This location is approximately 60 miles south of your current NYC offices. The company conducted an initial survey and found that 60 percent of the current staff do not intend to move with the company. Most alarming is that 30 percent of senior executives and key staff do not plan to relocate.

You are the Director of Human Resources. The CEO has asked you for a plan to:

1. increase the retention of senior executives and key staff members.

2. attract new employees for the new corporate headquarters.

3. maintain adequate staffing levels during the transition period.

What suggestions would give the CEO to meet these three staffing challenges? Using the concepts outlined in the text, what methods would you employ to source potential candidates to fill the open positions in the new corporate headquarters?
