You would like to form your own "green" business someday. You have heard of the many benefits of being an entrepreneur, such as setting your own hours, relying on yourself to be successful, and making business decisions.
A few business decisions will need to be made for this assignment, in a 2-3 page Word document. They are the following:
• What is the purpose of my company?
o Describe your company. Write a description of your business idea.
• What business name will I choose?
o Visit your Secretary of State's Office website and ensure that your business name is original. Find three names that are similar to your business name. Submit those names within your document.
• What type of business organization should I form?
o Explain your business organization. Detail the type of organization that you will form and list the advantages and disadvantages of your chosen company.
For the second part of this assignment, you want to create a "green product." This product will need to be advertised in order to increase your customer base. Ethical advertising will attract loyal and returning customers. On the other hand, unethical advertising is deceitful and misleading. This type of advertising can be negative often degrading a competitor's product.
• Develop a poster that will advertise your product in an unethical way. You want to increase as much customer support for your "green product" so you will need to use your devious imagination. Have fun with this assignment, and be creative!
