You will have the opportunity learn and experience the dynamics of working in a team as you complete the case study assignment. Reflect on YOUR individual personal experiences, feelings & perceptions of your "team experience" as you answer the following questions:

1. Recall the "Stages of Group Development""and the "Punctuated Equilibrium Model". Choose ONE of these models and relate to YOUR specific experience as you worked on the case study with your team. Make sure you discuss each step or stage as it relates to your experience.

2. a) What did you enjoy the most about working together on a team?

b) What did you least enjoy about this team experience?

3. How did your team function? Which "attributes of a highly functioning team" did your team demonstrate? Discuss.

4. Were there any "attributes of a poorly functioning team" that your team demonstrated? Explain.

5. What has been your biggest learning from your team's performance?

6. What has been your biggest learning about yourself and working with others?

7. Describe at least two (2) "Norms" your team adopted (as listed on your ‘Getting a Grip' contract sheet.) What were the consequences if a member didn't comply with each of the norms you agreed upon? Did you actually have to enforce any of those consequences? Be honest and discuss.

8. Working in teams can be a fantastic learning experience and incredibly challenging. What two (2) challenges did your group experience as you tried to complete your task? Explain.

9. It is said that hindsight is 20/20. Reflect on what words of wisdom (or advice) you would now pass on to someone about to work on an OB team case study for the very first time. In other words, what would you do differently the next time? What would you change about your own behavior? What would you change as a team? Discuss.

10. Any ideas as to how you would change this particular assignment or the team case study assignment?
