You may create a new product or service or propose an entirely new sales presentation for an existing product offering. The product or service must entail a professional high involvement / complex decision process.

1. Situation analysis. This will provide the background information for the sales presentation. It includes research findings About the company, customer, product, competition, marketplace, and consumers.

2. Strategic analysis. Main problem or opportunity facing the organization, sales objectives, target audience, competitive advantage, and positioning for the product

This is what my topic is about:

We have decided to our sales and selling project on Dick’s Sporting Goods and Nike. We want to play the role of Nike trying to sell and establish a new line of clothing to Dick’s. This line can be made exclusive to only Dick’s. This will help distinguish Dicks’ new line of Nike apparel apart from the other competition retail stores. We will use incentives such as coupons that will apply to our new line of Nike or even all of the Nike clothing in Dick’s. (Dick’s and most other retail locations don’t accept coupons on top of Nike merchandise.) So this will help set apart Dick’s and other competitors.

What more should I add to this? My professor just wants a summary of what I plan to do.
