You have accepted an opportunity to work as an expatriate at your company's new division. An expatriate is someone who is a citizen of one country but is working on an assignment in another country. The position starts in one month, so there is much to do before your big move. You have never traveled outside the United States (U.S.), not to mention living abroad, so you will need to conduct research on host country (the host country is the temporarily adopted country). Select the country your will be moving to from the list below.

Country is Mexico.

Conduct an internet search on your chosen country. You may consider using information found on the GLOBE project website described in your textbook http://www.tlu.ee/~sirvir/Leadership/Leadership%20Dimensions/clusters_of_world_culture.html

Be specific in responding to the following guidelines.

1. Begin your paper with a background of your country. For example, what major region is your country located? What is the climate of your chosen country? (You will need to know how to dress). Will you use public transportation or will you drive your own vehicle? What are the major customs and traditions?

2. Does your selected country appear to be individualistic or collectivist? To what degree is the country individualistic or collectivist (high, medium, or low)? How is that different from the U.S.?

3. Does your selected country appear to have masculine or feminine values? How is that different from the U.S.?

4. Discuss the formality of your chosen country. Does the lifestyle appear to be formal or informal? Be specific.

5. Name one or two specific characteristics that you feel make you the best candidate to assume this new position as expatriate.

Paper needs an introduction and conclusion and must be 2 to 3 pages excluding these the intro and conclusion and must be free from plagiarism.
