A) Kirkwood should go on a mass marketing drive especially during the Super Bowl season. The graphs show that every one of them does not like Football as much as they like other sports. Social marketing of NFL as a product can change this. We have seen that women constitute about 50% of the US population and a meager amount of them like NFL unlike other games. This notion can be changed by a marketing strategy focused on attracting the female population towards the sport. Kirkwood should analyze the modes and channels used for propagation of Super Bowl, which are mainly traditional sources; innovations in marketing will increase the reach of the message. It has diversified into Asian countries as the economic power shift has started in these countries but it should also be considered that they follow different cultures. As the cultural shift can cause the game to be disliked in many countries steps should be taken to promote it in conjunction with the cultural values. It should not be treated as a "man only "sport filled with violence. Also ticket prices might be lowered to increase more audience and to lure them into the stadiums. The whole population should be targeted, as they will grow up to be loyal fans of the game.

As costs dip and with the mobile internet network proving its mettle it is one of the most handy device now. Smart phones have become one of the major marketing channels as the firms can reach the customers directly with their products. This has increased the penetration and now firms advertise their products with people rather than millions of dollars. Examples like Starbucks who had come up with an innovative marketing drive where users need to click themselves with a Starbucks outlet poster and were given free coupons. This increased their sales. Applications like Check in which operate on the location network has increased the visibility of many outlets as people update their locations. Smart phones have various applications like push mail, documentation and others, which are useful business applications and are very popular among the corporates. There certain advantages of smart phones like they can have make people come closer, Increased activity and business related features. There are cons too like loss of concentration; increased use might cause health problems and irritation. This product might seem appealing to all but it is not so in many cases as many people still use normal phones due to lower costs and usage patterns.
