You have been hired as the HR consultant, by "Company X".

You are authority in human resource management practices. You have distinguished yourself and firm through your ability to recognize specific human resource practices and initiatives which increase performance and profitability. While experience spans whole HRM arena, you specialize in associate engagement; high performance work systems; and state of art practices in organization design, staffing, performance management, training and development & reward and compensation systems.

Your client is in midst of transformation designed to secure future of organization for next 3 to 5 years. Your client has requested which you submit proposal, not exceeding 2500 words. Proposal is to outline series of HRM practices that will enhance shareholder/stakeholder value within the organization.

Your client will be estimating your proposal using the following criteria:

1. You are expected to show the clear understanding of all of human resource areas covered in text.
2. You are expected to summarize comparative value of investing in each of these areas in relationship to current business practices/environment in your selected company. (like the value of introducing a new "360" evaluation system.)
3. Based on this analysis, you are to recognize and suggest introduction/ adoption of new HR practices in four strategic areas.
4. It is your responsibility to describe why these areas have been suggested and their intended contribution.
5. You are likewise expected to comment on why remaining areas were not included in your proposal.
6. Going extra mile, you are expected to suggest the plan for introducing four strategic initiatives.

It is your responsibility to give the meaningful and insightful recommendation which incorporates main findings and lessons learned during course. Text; personal research; supplemental readings; individual and team presentations; class activities; plus class discussions are to be used to support and convince reader of your position.
