XYZ Games (can change the name if needed)

Basic Overview:

Our company/product is going to be a virtual reality theme park. It will be most similar to a laser tag place. However, the difference is our company will immerse our customers into a completely virtual world. This will be done through the use of a virtual reality helmet and a 4-D environment. A 4-D environment is basically a room that is designed specifically to a layout for a game that will have live sound, weather, and obstacles. The virtual reality helmet will transform this environment into the actual level of the game featured, making it seem to the user that they are in the actual game. We will have 3-4 rooms set up like this to replicate some of the industries most popular games. Games like Halo, Call of Duty, Madden, etc...We will feature 3-4 games at a time for several months then rotate others in periodically. We will have an admission price (basically a ticket) for customers to gain entry. This will give them access to play all rooms for the day. Food and beverage will be offered as well as other areas for customers to lounge in.
Useful information:

• Demographics will be very similar to those of video games and theme parks, so if you are looking for industry to draw information off of look there.

• Other places to look at to get an idea of how the operation will work would be places like boondocks, arcades, and laser tag.

• We are providing a fun experience and that is our main product, we will also offer food and beverage.

• Competition will be from places that people/families go to have fun. Six flags, boondocks, movies, and other entertainment options.

We will also face competition from at home video games.

Each section needs to be ½-3/4 of a page single spaced by Sunday morning what you need to do exactly is: List the three major competitors you will face when trying to market this product, and briefly state each one's general market position and their strategies. Do this in list form (1.2.3.) with "Position" and "Strategies" clearly labeled for each company.

Competitors are : Six flags, boondocks, movies, and other entertainment options. We will also face competition from at home video games.
