Training and development should be carried with a number of objectives that should be achieved by the end of the exercise. The topic for the training exercise is "Key to Successful Workplace Relations and Customer Care" The objectives will include:

  • The exercise will ensure all participating members learn the importance of teamwork in the work place.
  • The exercise aims to bring together trainees from different organization and teach them on the basics of running successful business.
  • The exercise will cover issues on customer service and work place relationships.

Some of the posts have not covered viable topics. A training exercise should have a well-defined topic. The topic should suggest the main objectives of the training exercise. Objectives give a training exercise a sense of direction. It directs that the activities that are likely to take place during the exercise.

One of the posts lacked clarity in objectives and general purpose of the training exercise. The draft topic is not conclusive, which makes one doubt if the training exercise will succeed. The draft is not comprehensive. A comprehensive topic with clear objectives is relatively easy to implement compared to a topic that is full of ambiguity (Saks, Haccoun, Belcourt, & Belcourt, 2010). In addition, a topic should be catchy to attract people for the exercise.
