GROUP ASSIGNMENTS

As a group, construct a table that compares and contrast the prototype drugs labetalol. What conditions are these drugs commonly used to treat? Describe the similarities and differences among the various adrenergic blocking agents.

Each group is assigned one of the prototype drugs labetalol phentolamine, doxazosin, propranolol, or atenolol. Create a case study for a patient who will be given the assigned drug. Be creative with the case study. Be sure to include patient age gender, culture, and disease condition.

Develop a teaching plan for your patient including important teaching points that must be stressed to the patient. Share case studies and teaching plans
