Insure that you have a professional web presence, An employer should be able to locate your professional, businesslike and useful internee identity by searching for your name and business on the multitude of business locators (e.g. boogie. Facebook, Yellow Pages. etc.). Create a professional web presence for a business consulting service you provide, utilizing LinkedIn. You want to advertise yourself as a business management consultant, specializing in the consultation of small businesses, to help them streamline their processes and become more efficient and effective.

The assignment will be evaluated on the following basis:

• Businesslike design, color choice, font use, format/design (backgmund. spacing. tables. graphics), images
• Communication of businesslike persona (active. sensitive, rational, customer focus. and absence of embarrassments)
• Accuracy and clarity of content (education, work background, project resources, membership in client organizations)
• Business Offerings

Validation (education)

• Page utility (workability of links and features)

• Education of provided service to potential clients via content flow to accomplish this assignment! Use Linkedin.com to create a page to advertise yourself as a business consultant. To use and activate your LinkedIn account, create a Quail email account, in the following standard format: "Lastnamelt [email protected]"

Guidelines:

1) Use your own education/school (assume you have graduated)

2) Set your privacy controls so that your page is accessible to me (at minimum).

3) Create a persona of someone who graduated and has worked for, at minimum, 2 business consulting agencies (fictitious). For one agency you were a beginner consultant, and for the second agency you were a supervisor of a staff of 2. Please include duties and obligations likely held for these two positions.

4) List 2 assignments related to business consulting that you've achieved.

5) Provide a "tag-line" about your business to help advertise its service (i.e. lust Do IC) and appeal to potential clients

6) Include necessary business info (business name, contact info, hours, service provided, etc.)

7) Create a fictitious website and list it

8) List organization involvement (1 minimum)

9) Include any other imagery or available add-ins to be useful.
