Write two sets of goals which include: a sets of spiritual goals and set of career goals for five years after graduation. And, ensure that goals you set are SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
Putting to paper concrete steps, more likely you are to complete them and get your goals.
First, apply SMART approach to steps as well. You will likely come across some obstacles as you review essential steps.
Second, implement your plan flexibly knowing that not all revelation or discovery comes at once. Future opportunities may be completely unplanned for.
Map your action items to the goals you set .you may want to create a spreadsheet for this.
Put a timetable on each action item.
