Write an informative essay about the history of African-American music. Discuss some of the obstacles African-American musicians have faced over time.

Include at least one credible source from the LAFS database in your essay to support your ideas and statements about your topic. Cite your source from the LAFS Database in-text and on a References page. Remember to include the database name on your References page when you cite the database article (for example: Retrieved from EBSCOhost.)
