Write a report on effect of recession on recruitment strategy in banking industry
Identify the recruitments trends in the banking sector (Dubai specific) during pre and post-recession and its impact on expat population wanting to build a career in banking sector in Dubai.
The aim is to encourage you to work on a topic that is of common interest, as well as practically relevant. Since banking is one of the main sector over here in Dubai and recession has affected the banking sector you can do a comparison study on pre and post-recession.
The groups are required to submit the assignment (Maximum 1,000 words) by October 5th, 2011.
Below are the details of the flow chart of the project:
a. A brief description of the rationale behind the topic. This should include the following:
1. Problem statement
2. Project objectives
3. Expected benefits from the project/research
b. Methodology: This should include the following:
1. Nature of data. You are encouraged to use both qualitative and quantitative data in your project.
2. Some idea about the sources of data. There might be some constraints on obtaining organizational data but you can get it on assurance of confidentiality. Further there are secondary data also available.
3. A broad outline of how you analyzed the data.
Make sure that you provide credit to the people/organizations whose work you have used in your project. You can use either of the following two ways to do so:
