Write a five to ten page paper on the status of one of the critical infrastructure sectors selected from the following list:
Communications
Energy
Financial Services
Food & Agriculture
Information Technology
Transportation Systems
Water & Wastewater Systems
Find at least 4 new scholarly articles on the critical infrastructure sector you selected, (include these in your bibliography). Scholarly articles come from peer reviewed journals that can be located through the library. They are not news articles you googled on-line.
They also cannot be government documents or articles used in this course. You may also use other sources such as documents, textbooks and articles used as readings in this course and other homeland security courses.
Introduce your selected sector by describing the sector providing attributes and demographics, then in one coherent, organized paper, answer all of the following questions based on your scholarly sources and other articles and documents.
Ensure that your paper actually answers all the broad questions while integrating the answers into one unified organized paper.
(In other words, do not present your work as separate "mini-answers" or "mini-papers.") Use support and evidence from the course readings as well as your scholarly sources to strengthen your answers. Use transitions to relate your component answers.
Your paper should be typed in MS Word format, double-spaced and at least five (5) pages but no more than ten (10) pages in length. Include a separate cover page with a paper title, page numbers, and a bibliography on a separate page.
Your paper should have an introduction, a body, and a conclusion. You may use headings for various sections of the paper if you wish. The cover page and bibliography are in addition to the 5 - 10 pages of your paper.
Cite your sources using APA format. (Review the Atomic Learning tutorials on APA citation formats and use). You should have a minimum of four new scholarly sources for this paper.
You may use 11 or 12-font. Use one-inch margins. Please proofread and edit your paper to eliminate grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors before submitting.
