With a goal of getting pregnant in near future, my new psychiatrist told me to stop both Geodon and Lexapro and start on Latuda 40 mg. I did but my sleep got affected. My body had gotten used to Geodon for sleep and stuff. Had been taking it for 3 years. So I tried Sonata, Ambien, Ambien CR 6.25. But I kept getting up in about 5 hours. That is not good.
I am not seeing my psychiatrist until tonight. But Monday night I took 20 mg Geodon at night with Latuda 40 mg and Ambien CR 6.25 mg. I took Geodon for my sleep which had been crazy for past 2 weeks. I slept 9 hours and had a real good day on Tuesday (yesterday). So on Tuesday night I took the same medicines as the 30th, but woke up about 4 times in the night. I still kept in bed for 9 hours, but sleep was affected. I am not feeling too good today.
I am consulting you to give me some other ideas I can try. Geodon requires one to sleep full 8-9 hours or it is going to be harder to get by. So should I not take it tonight? I really want to have a good night's sleep tonight
Should I take or not take Geodon?
