Which approach is more likely to stimulate employee cooperation in cost reduction? Why? (a) “Your jobs are threatened now by price-cutting competitors.” (b) “You can help protect your jobs from price-cutting competitors if we can find a way to reduce our department’s scrap percentage from 5 to 2 percent per month.” Also, please help me with some references to do more research.
