When one of multiple independent variables (X) does not meet the requirements for statistical significance (confidence) between X and Y, what is likely the best change before we use the intercept and slope values for the remaining independent variables (X) to create a forecast model?

A. Exclude the independent variable(s) that does not meet the confidence requirement; use current coefficients for the dependent and independent variables which DO meet the confidence requirement

B. Exclude the independent variable(s) that does not meet the confidence requirement; re-accomplish the regression analysis without the independent variable(s) that does not meet the confidence requirement
