What would be the perfect Thesis statement stating the wrong in the trilogy,without using "be verbs"?

Today's readers do not even understand that we owe our English language to the Greek. Not just for the alphabet, but also for a major part of its vocabulary. The broadminded author of this trilogy, Sophocles, took great pains to create these plays in a style of a Classical Greek Tragedy. He first completed his play of Antigone, followed by Oedipus the King, and Oedipus at Colonus. Born in 496 or 495 B.C. and dieing in 406, Sophocles lived his whole life just outside Athens. Living nearly 2,500 years ago, Sophocles tells us dramatically how things happened as a human living throughout that time period. That time period just happened to have many things that seem faulty or just plain weird.
