WHAT SHOULD BE CHANGED IN ORDER TO BETTER THIS PAPER?

You want to start a business and perceive an opportunity in serving the rapidly growing segment of the US population over 50. The service you create must appeal to aging baby boomers 50 years old or older who are still at work (not yet retired) in professional or high-level corporate careers. They work an average of 60 to 80 hours per week and make a minimum $100,000 per year. They like to look good, be social, and stay healthy. Time is a big issue for them. The rules for your business idea are as follows: any idea is acceptable at this stage; nothing should be ruled out as silly, impractical, or even antisocial; also, improvements on existing services can be considered. Describe in detail your best business idea for this customer set.

Develop a response that includes examples and evidence to support your ideas, and which clearly communicates the required message to your audience. Organize your response in a clear and logical manner as appropriate for the genre of writing. Use well-structured sentences, audience-appropriate language, and correct conventions of standard American English.

Baby boomers work an average of seventy hours per week, which leaves little time for leisurely activities. There are cheaper ways to treat the whole family to exotic and relaxing adventures. The travel agency would encourage those married to invite other couples while the single would be provided with an excellent opportunity to mingle, socialize and probably meet new people. Baby boomers hold relatively better-paying jobs than younger generations, which is why baby boomers are the country's largest annual consumers. The travel agency will primarily conduction business online, providing flexibility and ease for busy customers and ensuring that as little time is spent on the booking process as possible. Since the target group is highly absorbed by technology, there will be applications available for smartphones and tablets. This business will require a large online presence, time conscious booking, and affordable trips personalized for each client's needs.

Due to lifestyle increasingly becoming more health conscious, destinations will include activities catering such activities as kayaking, swimming and mountain climbing, as well as excursions. The agency will provide information on the safety of destinations, the booking of hotels, and the activities offered at each destination. There will be destinations and activities tailored to those with families, as well as those who are single. Destinations for both those traveling with family and those traveling alone will include social events such as dinners and excursions. Destinations available will be guaranteed safe to ensure customer satisfaction.

The travel agency will be distinguished from the competition by personalization. This is because each client can choose a destination and browse a list of packages containing various social activities and events offered at each location. There are multiple packages available at each location ensuring that each customer is satisfied. Advertising will mainly be through billboards and online. Online based advertising will carry discount messages and received through email, or other social media sites known to be frequently visited by the target group. The agency's application will assist to promote new and added features as well as pricing. The business will regularly update new destinations with high definition photos as well as video.

The biggest challenge facing the business will be ensuring that there will be enough booking during the holiday period when most traveling takes place. The business will work in correspondence with hotels, ensuring the maximum number of customers can book a trip to any of our destinations, specifically during busy holiday seasons. The agency will assure that each client finds a package appropriate for their specific needs, whether traveling alone or with family.
