What competencies were you able to develop in researching and writing the course Comprehensive Project? How did you leverage knowledge gained in the intellipath assignments (Units 1- 4) in completing the Comprehensive Project? How will these competencies and knowledge support your career advancement in management?

I was able to learn more about various ways to research for information and about how to be more productive during times when there were so many other things going on that required my attention outside of this project, I learned a lot about time management and how to make the best use of my time and feel like was putting forth a good effort, I think this knowledge will help me more in the future to plan things accordingly and always have a backup plan like saving all my work to folder or usb drive incase things happen and to always use any resources on hand to help.

Reflecting on the discussions, readings, intellipath content and assignments in this course, what are the most important leader, follower, cultural and situational characteristics that contribute to effective leadership? Why?

I think being an effective leader means having confidence in one's abilities and the desire and will to effectively succeed at what they do, also having good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate while building relationships is also important.

What role does technology play in the efficacy and influence of leadership in the 21st century?

Today technology can play a huge role on leadership, by changing the original role of what was required of leadership which was based on a physical characteristics of actions taken, now with technology leadership is now allowed to happen online and can be presented differently from the traditional pattern, the influence of technology can allow for more power, freedom and the ability to reach more employees remotely with the same message through email, video conference or meetings which allows for the message to reach as many as possible within a given period so that no one is missing out of vital information.

Technology allows for leadership to operate in a way that opens more gateways of communication and has made the task of leadership and the ability to influence others in a way where many people can be reached in a short amount of time, technology has also increased the efficiency in how workers can now interact, and do their jobs productively which can allow more free time for other tasks which may need more of their attention.
