What are your thoughts for this? Do you agree or not?

Social media has become a huge part of todays society. Anything and everything you post is on the internet forever and just about anyone can see it, including employers. I think there are a lot of factors that can go into answering this question. There are some things people post that could be cause for concern while other items might not be of any concern to the employer. For example political views. Whatever political views i display on my social media should not be a reflection of my work ethic and therefore not be grounds for rejection. Some aspects of my social life should not be any business of my employer. i dont think it is wise to judge certain parts of peoples social media. What i chose to do on my weekend should not refelect my work ethic. However it is a double edged sword, such as if a potential employee decides to post there drug use on social media then that should be a cause for concern and grounds for automatic rejection.
