Was diagnosed with shingles can I take the prednisone 40 mg and acyclovir 400 mg together and does anyone know how long it takes to take effect cause it really hurts. I forgot to mention I'm a 43 year old diabetic that had a spleenectomy in 05 i have to see my doc on Wed shud i ask for any certain med it hurts but i can handle the pain.
