Having read Chapter 4 from the Bateman text, reviewed "How to Write a Business Plan" from the Small Business Administrative Web site, and using at least one of the chosen resources for your final project, complete the following:

Part A Using your final project idea as your guideline: Walt Disney Company

• Create a Vision and Mission statement.
• Create a SWOT analysis for the company you chose.
• Complete a Strategy Map for your particular project.
• Identify external and internal forces that may or do currently affect your company.

The vision and mission statement should be completed in sentence form with or without bullets. The SWOT Analysis can follow the SWOT worksheets in the Bateman text. A Strategic Planning Workshop is shown in Bateman. All other information can be completed in paragraph form.

Part B (Answer the following questions in paragraph form):

• When might it be useful to perform a "self-SWOT" analysis?
• What information might you glean from such an analysis?
• How might you use the idea of having employees perform "self-SWOT" analyses in operational management?
• How might using "self-SWOT" be beneficial in managing teams?

There is no page requirement for completion of this written assignment; however, it must be thoroughly completed and well thought out. References should be cited according to APA format.
