Very EARLY in the week, select a state within the US and post a placeholder in the forum letting the rest of the class know the state you have chosen in the title of the forum thread, so no one will pick the same state. 

Then, after doing some research, discuss whether or not the selected state is socially efficient. Make sure you review the course materials on social efficiency. When you respond to the forum, make sure you consider all of the resources within the state, including water, land, habitat, air, minerals, wildlife, etc. Consider both the "good" and any areas that can be improved.
