Value Proposition Hypothesis Testing Worksheet Assignment

Instructions:

In this activity, you will seek customer feedback for the hypotheses you proposed in your building blocks assignment. You will complete the following to receive this feedback in two ways. Note that you are not being asked to actually perform the calls or survey at this time. You will only submit this to gather feedback from your instructor. Once approved by your instructor, you will actually conduct this research and complete a pass/fail rubric in the next assignment.

Part A: Guru Method

Create a call sheet that includes a short description of your product and 10-12 questions that will allow you to test your hypothesis about who your target customer is, what your niche market is and what your value proposition is. Create questions that will allow you test your hypotheses in these areas. The call sheet will be used to record the information gathered from the guru.

Part B: Target Market

You will be required to conduct your first market research through face-to-face interaction in the next lesson. To prepare, create a questionnaire to test your hypothesis about who your target customer is, what your niche market is and what your value proposition is.
