•         Initially, my assembled team would make up the documentation for the entire procedures for emergency use. It will include all party members involved all the way from the coordinator to the one that is going to be off the premises making contact with those involved inside the disaster area to maneuver the situation as best as possible

•         It will be mandatory to have active backups so that all information lost ( if any ) can be restored back afterwards

•         Contact details such as emails, mobile numbers, etc. of the members who will tackle the situation when a  disaster strikes would be saved off site so that they can be contacted at the time of  a disaster emergency.

•         The team would build and document the recovery tactics for its entire IT (Information Technology) appliances, data, and systems such as desktops, wireless gadgets, servers, connectivity, and networks.

•         The team would prioritize which IT assets are the most valuable for the business continuity so when and if a disaster strikes they can be safeguarded first and the rest can be obtained at a later time if time and situation permits.

•         The team will start the execution of sending all the data to two or three different off site locations, preferably outside of the region where the company is located. Both off site data centers and cloud data saving solutions would be implemented in case for any give reason one of the location is unreachable so the business continuity plan can take place after the fact.

•         Team will take preemptive measures with the equipments vital to the continuation of the contingency while the emergency is in place to include the reinforcement of important communication devices, servers, routers, lines specially the equipment that handles all the backup procedures and off site data distribution.

•         The team will make sure all special assets, that being customers databases to include phone numbers, addresses, E-mail, etc. to company contracts, contractors, special interests, company related critical information ( gains, losses, capital, investments, charts, schedules, amongst other important documents ) are being digitalized and backed up in different off site locations in case all physical material is damaged or lost.

·         The team will recreate a disaster situation and implement the plan as written and instructed and measure the feasibility of it and make arrangements ( add, remove, modify ) elements that were either not functional during the process or enhanced the ones that worked well but could be better implemented if new things are added to them
