Examine what the parameters for plagiarism are, what motivates students to employ it, how students and instructors will recognize it occurring, and what penalties can exist for those who embark on it.

With the information you collect, produce a three page (double-spaced) instructional memorandum that can be used to help students recognize plagiarism. In crafting this, include the following:

• A coherent and clear description (in your own words) of what constitutes plagiarism Be thorough, and provide examples as appropriate.
• Ways students can double-check their work for plagiarized or improperly cited passages and correct them if found
• Penalties that instructors have or may have applied for plagiarized work
• Potential impacts on academic and professional futures for those who plagiarize
• Excellent mechanics, organization, and delivery of content

• All references that you use must be properly cited using APA style and format.
• Be persuasive and informative; do not use "I" statements (you, we, our, etc.) nor offer your opinion.
• You may use any layout that you discover or design to create the memorandum format that you use.
