Getting Started in Communication Research

Part One: Create a Research Question

Choose two to three sources (an article, book, etc.) from the University Library to support your perspective on your research topic. 

Write a research question within the area of communication research you are interested in answering, 

Complete the following based on your research question in 50-100 words: 

Write two one-tail hypotheses that relate two variables that you have an interest in exploring. For each hypothesis, you should use different variables.  Please see your textbook for additional support. 

Identify two people you would like to interview to get views relevant to the research question and explain why you have selected these two people.  

Part Two: Additional Research Question 

Write an additional research question within the area of communication research you are interested in answering. 

Complete the following based on your research question in 50-100 words:
