Transition Assessment Case Study

You will choose a transition-related assessment that you will administer to a student with a disability or at risk for failure (ages is-20). You can choges the same student you will be interviewing.

You will interpret the results of thtessessmenband develop appropriate postsecondary/instructional goals and accompanying objectives based on the results of the-assessment. You will provide a short presentation of your case and reflection on April 4th.

Your assignment must contain the following (3 - 4 pages)

A review of the types, purpose(s), and uses of transition assessment, including issues that one should consider in selection, use, and interpretation. The review should include references to course readings/class content.

1. A description of the assessment you chose and a rationale for your choice.

2. A brief description of the student you are planning to assess (provide information relevant to the assessment).

3. A summary of the assessment results, a description of your interpretation, and the goals and objectives that were created based on the results.

4. A description of how the assessment results informed your development of goals and objectives.

S. A reflection on how the assessment, interpretation, and development of goals and objectives went (e.g., What do you need to learn more about? What might you do differently in the future? What new insights did you learn from the experience?).
