Topic Question:

The Sydney Novatel (a 5 star hotel) originally employed its own staff to clean the Hotel's accommodation rooms and other parts of the premises. Recently the Sydney Novatel's management decided to follow the recommendation of its accountants and outsource the cleaning activities for the hotel.

Using 6 acceptable peer reviewed journal articles to support your analysis and conclusions, write a 1500 word report (correctly formatted as taught in class):

1. explain the advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing activities such as cleaning for organisations such as the Sydney Novatel

2. draw conclusions as to whether outsourcing the cleaning activities was the correct decision for an organisation such as the Sydney Novatel.

3. The 6 peer reviewed journal articles used as theory for your analysis must be summarised and reviewed in an annotated bibliography (as taught in class and as done for A2) and added as an attachment to the end of your report

Task:

1. Find six (6) peer reviewed journal articles - current and relevant to the topic.

2. Develop an Annotated Bibliography as taught in class using these articles.

3. Write a 1500 + 10% report using the theory from your articles to support your answer to the Topic Question

4. Attach your annotated bibliography to the end of your report as an Appendix / Attachment
