They have been told to be responsible to look after gap analysis, immunisation and derivatives in asset and liability management. Nonetheless, the terms appear new to them. ii) The new Operations Director wishes to start working on Basel III so that it becomes no surprise to shift a to a better liquidity risk management culture by 2018. Describe how Basel III is expected to deal with liquidity issues in banks.
